App Status

Wearable Widgets is breaking new ground in wearable technology, and while everything we know about in the app works, there are undoubtedly still a few bugs. If you run across one of these, please email us with details and we'll do our best to sort it.

Known Issues as of 4 Jan 2021

On some recent Samsung phones you may see a notification like the one shown here. Why? Well, basically because Wearable Widgets works by screencasting widgets from your phone to your watch. In other words, "screen capture" of widgets is what WW does - it's a feature, not a bug.
Taps and swipes on widgets on the watch aren't quite as nifty as when you interact directly with your phone; there’s some unavoidable lag in the connection between devices.
When you tap or vertical-swipe a widget on a watch linked to a phone running Android 4.3 or below, it will flash briefly on the screen of your phone.
Compatibility issues exist with a few specific widgets; we maintain a separate page detailing these.
